Felix Del Tredici is a bass trombonist and improviser from Montreal, Quebec. He is a member of Ensemble Échappé, NO HAY BANDA, and the experimental trombone quartet So Wrong It’s Right. The New York Times has described his playing as “extraordinarily versatile”, “hair-raisingly virtuosic” and "disturbing yet fascinating".

He is an artist-researcher with matralab – a research space of inter-x art directed by Sandeep Bhagwati.

Del Tredici has performed with Klangforum Wien, Schallfeld Ensemble, Musikfabrik, Ensemble Signal, the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble, Kollektiv International Totem, and the Lucerne Festival Academy. His festival appearances include the Salzburg Festspiele, Berlin Festspiele, bludenzer tage zeitgemäßer musik, Darmstadt Ferienkurse, Outreach Festival Schwaz, IMPULS, Zeiträume Basel, Musiikin Aika, and Bargemusic Here & Now.

Felix Del Tredici debuts as the artiste étoile of PRISM Chamber Music Festival 2019, performing works by Bartók, Berio, A. Bertali, Bhagwati, D. Castello, David Del Tredici and Alvin Lucier alongside the NOVA Ensemble.
